Sewing help needed!

I am going to be making little aprons for my boys and some friends kids for Christmas and I need to know how to make the seam/hem/edging around the apron...I am a fast learner so if you could show me what to do once, I can do the rest. I have my own machine so I just need instruction. Please let me know if you can help.
